God it's finally cold here! Would love more rain like yesterday but I suppose I should feel lucky we got what we got lol. So happy it's this cold still though! Hopefully it's stays this cold for the whole month.
And what happened to our movies and actors? All the good old movies with Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, Bob Hope & Bing Crosby, and Carey Grant. Why don't they ever attempted to make movies like these guys were in anymore? And not remakes. No all people care about are how big the explosions are and how great the CGI effects are. And movie stars back then had so much more class, now look at most of our movie stars. 90% are no where near as good as the stars back then. Seems like they just kept losing more and more class over the years, got more and more prettier till that fact where it doesn't matter if they can actually act or not. Shame.
Hideious wrapping paper everywhere by the way lol. Why would I want pink Christmas paper? Or teal, mint green, or orange? Apparently the people who created the paper this year thinks we live in Who-ville

Ok I have listened to it again...... Sooooo... to 30stm, you guys spent so much time in the studio.. tell me what exactly did you guys do in there? Was it this album? Really?.... really?
So many things that are so awful with this cd I just don't know. For one thing, why is this album so poorly mixed? I've heard demo cds from unknown bands that were mixed better. And do they not believe in guitars anymore? What guitars that actually exists on this cd, that aren't drowned out, are pretty average. So average I can't even remember one good rift used in any of the songs.
Escape and Stranger in a Strange Land are the only decent songs on it in my opinion, while the rest I have already forget what they sounded like. Except for Vox Populi, I remember what that sounds like cause that is a song that should just... die. It's like a horrifying combo of Queen's "We Will Rock You", The Who song used for CSI Miami, and a Disney anthem with too much fan vocals. I really enjoyed the instrumental, but it had no business being on the cd. You write 120 song for one album and these are the ones you pick? Thank god Pressure (or whatever the final name was on that) wasn't on this cd, it would have been ruined I'm sure.
I mean jeez decide on what band you are actually ripping off, U2, NIN, or The Who? And for god sakes 30stm should never ever do anymore techno remixes. I can't even believe they have the nerve to call themselves a rock band still, these guys are not rock anymore, more like techno pop, and I'm pretty sure some parts reminded me of country music O_o. This cd is one step above a teenie bopper band. Maybe Disney will give you guys a call if they make a Mulan 3 cause that is where I would expect to hear this piece of crap. Obviously not all fans will feel this way and I don't expect them to. I'm a little envious of fans who will like it though, I miss actually liking this band. But to me this was a fucking disappointment.
Oh well, whats another 4 years of waiting eh?
On a side note I think I need to get Civil Twilight's cd, I love the songs I've heard off it so far.

Listening to the new 30 Seconds to Mars cd... easily their worst album. How commercial can you guys go? And they call Pete Wentz a sell out? Whatever lol. I'll have more to say when I'm more awake and with more listens.

Got through watching Harper's Island last night, that show was so damn awesome. Best mini series I have seen in a long time. If anyone is a fan of murder mysteries you should definitely go buy it. This series is like exactly how CLUE would be like if they turned it into a 13hr horror movie. Well planned out story and lots of stuff that kept you guessing, if only they made more stuff like this!

Rumor has it Craven will be back for Scream 4, so cool, I can't believe they got everyone back for this movie!
I bought Adam Lambert's cd yesterday, must say I really enjoyed it. Normally I don't think I would have bought and listened to it but since someone that has musical taste I trust has been saying good things about him and it was only $3.99 on Amazon, what was to lose lol. I can see why he won American Idol... at least I'm assuming he won, honestly I really don't know if he did. I think down the road, when he matures his music a little bit, he's gonna be something big.
The new Liberty N' Justice album sounds like it's going to be rockin'. Everything I've heard off it so far is amazing. Another cd in January I'll be looking forward to.
And why is it I always see certain magazines that I never buy at every drug store every month, yet when I want to actually buy one of these magazines because of the cover they are no where to be found? lol

It is extremely sad to see what 30 Seconds to Mars has turned into and what kind of songs they now put out. Night of the Hunter (remix) sucks. Would be a pretty damn good song from someone else, but coming from 30stm is extremely disappointing.

Aaah! So cannot wait for this! Finally a new Puppet Master sequel/prequel! So much better then a remake that was rumored! I love Puppet Master, when dvds first came out the Puppet Master boxset were the first dvd's I ever got.
The new (or I guess newest) Sick Puppies cd is good. I love how his vocals have deepened since the first cd. This cd kinda captures more of how they are live.

Wolverine Origins was too fun! It was also too easy and too short :( Pretty much my only complaint about it was that Wolverine rarely ever dies in the game, I mean I know he's Wolverine and all but come on present somewhat of a challenge lol. But it was pretty fun!
Now I'm playing Smackdown vs. Raw 2010, so cool! So many wrestlers to play! And the graphics are amazing, best so far in the SvR series, so life like. It mimics each wrestlers moves and the way they hold themselves pretty well too. First time Jericho has been a major heel in a game, so it's fun playing with his new in ring style.

Watched The Knowing a few nights ago, I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of those really old black & white sci-fi movies, like those cheesy ones but not quite THAT cheesy.
Started playing X-Men Origins: Wolverine, totally fun! Way more gory then the last Wolverine game! Just kinda wish you could explore more and stuff.
The new Flyleaf cd is so awesome! God I love all the songs, hard to pick but Again, Chasm, This Close, Swept Away (reminds me of a 12 stones song) and Circle are among my favorites off the album.
Lacey's vocals are perfect, though I am a tad disappointed there is not many screamo parts from her on the songs, she does it so well. The effect's used on the cd are wonderful as well, like the music box at the end of Swept Away and the old radio effect at the end of Set Apart This Dream. I can't wait to add this cd to my collection when it comes out.
And the new Evanescence Intro at the NY show is soo cool, I hope that is a preview of what the music will sound like for the new album!

So are all the new 30stm songs going to sound like something out of a Disney movie? Lovely. Anyway I think full version of This is War is.... too long. I'm all for long songs, In fact I love them, that is if it's not as boring as fuck. The song should have stopped at 4 minutes, it was decent up till that point, the last 2 minutes are pointless, it makes the song go all over the place. Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Tool, and other bands like that can make amazing long songs and go off in different directions in the same song without it sounding like a mess, I really don't think 30stm has this ability. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that, I just think 30smt should stick with normal length songs. Like I said though I do like it better then K&Qs, though I preferred the 2 and a half minute version used in the Dragon Age trailer lol.

Well I like the 30stm track This Is War way better then Kings and Queens. The summit part still sounds like crap on this one though and its a shame it will ruin every song on this cd. The summit has to be the worst thing that has happened to any cd in a long time. But this song gives me a little hope for the cd not sucking totally.
